I just got through making my first online photo album with Picasa 2. Pretty handy little program, makes uploading and web based photo hosting real easy. Although I think you have to have a gmail account to use it.
Check it out, there isn't a whole lot in there right now but it's a work in progress.

I'm pretty sure you can use Picasa offline for sorting and searching your pics without a gmail account, but all the online sharing and whatnots require one. Nice fish btw :)
